Packeteer Waste Equipment Return Policy
To reduce waste and to protect the environment from hazardous materials, waste electrical equipment must be disposed of properly.
Electrical equipment should not be mixed in with general trash or disposed of in a landfill.
If your product has the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol pictured here, it may be covered under a program that allows you to return the waste product to Packeteer for proper treatment, recovery, and disposal. Please check the terms of your end user license agreement (sent with the product) to see whether you are eligible for the Packeteer take-back program.
The Packeteer take-back program applies to all products sold in the following countries:
- All European Union (EU) Member States
If you are not located in one of the countries listed above, or if you purchased the product prior to August 13, 2005, you are still responsible for the proper disposal of the product through a reputable, licensed hazardous materials processor.
All returned Packeteer products must have a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number assigned.
For instructions on returning your waste electrical product to Packeteer for treatment and disposal, and to receive an RMA number, please contact the nearest regional Packeteer Customer Support Center.
Note: Packeteer's take-back program is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the product's end user license agreement. Please refer to the applicable agreement for additional information regarding your obligations.
The following information must be provided to Packeteer when requesting an RMA:
- Product serial number
- Company name
- Originating address
- Contact name
- Email address
- Telephone number
